The under and overlapping edge design adds immense load dispersing capacity and gives the effect of creating one big stable pad or roadway when the SignaRoad lock nuts are engaged.  In certain applications involving the movement of heavy vehicles, traditional Bog Mats which lay on the ground in a stand alone fashion can become unstable under the weight and pressure of the vehicles driving axle causing the mats to spin out in an unsafe manner.  SignaRoad overcomes this problem with its engaging design.
